It’s the middle of the summer, sure, but I like to think that anytime is an appropriate time to talk about Christmas! Austin always has a lot of things to do, but there are some staple events you should definitely do over the Christmas holidays
Bouldin Creek Cafe is probably my new favorite restaurant in Austin. I briefly mentioned it in one of my other Explore Austin posts, but I feel like I should do a separate post just on this cafe to do it justice.
Last weekend, one of my good friends and I decided to try something new and adventurous before the school year really started: we went aerial dancing. (Ok, more like we tried to).
Up next in our Explore Austin series is the Barton Creek Greenbelt, which is located in south-central Austin. The Greenbelt contains 12.68 miles of beautiful, scenic trails for hiking,limestone bluffs for rock climbing & swimming.
This summer, I’m spending my time here in Austin to do some research, but of course, now there’s no longer any school/homework for me to worry about, I can actually go and explore Austin on the weekends!
Fortunately for me (and unfortunately for my credit card), my dorm back in Austin is one block away from The Drag, home of the world’s best food vendors. Here’s some photographic evidence of why my credit card is crying.
